How to Use the Peptide Calculator

This calculator helps you convert the total amount in your vial into the exact liquid volume to draw after reconstitution.

What you need to know first

Before using the calculator, you need 3 numbers:

1. Total peptide in the vial (mg)
This is the total amount written on the vial label.
Example: 10mg, 20mg, 50mg

2. Total liquid added (mL)
This is the total amount of bacteriostatic water or other diluent added to the vial.
Example: 1mL, 2mL, 3mL

3. Desired amount (mg)
This is the amount you want to convert into liquid volume.
Example: 0.25mg, 0.5mg, 1mg

Step-by-step

Step 1

Enter the total peptide in the vial in milligrams.

Example:
If your vial says 10mg, enter:

Step 2

Enter the total liquid added in milliliters.

Example:
If you added 2mL, enter:

Step 3

Enter the desired amount in milligrams.

Example:
If you want to calculate 0.25mg, enter:

Formula used

The calculator works using this formula:

Concentration = Total mg ÷ Total mL
Amount to draw = Desired mg ÷ Concentration
